We will discuss the benefits that tiered storage can help you achieve, including:-

• Ability to move data between tiers or arrays without application downtime
• Simplified processes and application testing
• Enhanced storage management
• Logical abstraction of the presented storage from the underlying hardware

Kavanagh will discuss a range of virtualisation technologies that will fit different scales of environments and budgets, including:

• Full tiered storage virtualisation
• Array based tiered storage
